Terms of use

These terms are between you and Indiepop AI, the maker of My Money Buddy. By using the app you agree to them. On iPhone, Apple's standard licence agreement also applies.

1. What the app does

My Money Buddy helps you record and understand your spending. It reads the messages and files you give it and fills in entries for you to check. It can make mistakes, so please check entries before you save them. The app is provided "as is", and you use it at your own risk as far as the accuracy of your data goes.

2. Not financial advice

Insights, budgets and forecasts are there to help you see your money more clearly. They aren't financial, tax or investment advice.

3. Your account and your data

• Your records are stored in a Google Sheet in your own Google Drive, and they belong to you.
• You're responsible for keeping your phone and your Google or Apple account secure.
• We aren't responsible for problems on your Google account's side, such as running out of Drive storage.
• How we handle your data is explained in the privacy policy.

4. Premium

Premium is a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play, and renews until you cancel it there. Prices, trials and refunds follow the store's rules. Deleting the app or your account doesn't cancel the subscription by itself.

5. Fair use

Please don't misuse the app: no trying to break it, overload it, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.

6. Changes

We may update the app and these terms. If a change is important, we'll tell you in the app.
